St. Clair is a town of almost 5000 people 54 miles southwest of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, directly out Interstate 44. St. Clair was on the original U.S. Route 66, (red dotted line on the map) with three routes through town over the years. Many of the old Route 66 buildings are still there, and a few are still in use. It is one of the few places in Missouri where the path intersects inside a town’s city limits. St. Clair is located at: 38.3520422 north latitude and -91.0315904 west longitude. WGS84 datum.
