There will be a wide variety of parking available during the three main days of the event, from free, first come, first served, to reservable spaces at various rates. St. Clair businesses will be open over the weekend, and we ask that you do not block private driveways, fire hydrants or road accesses, and honor any places which are taped off by the owners. The majority of the town of St. Clair is south of I-44, and between exits 240 and 239; also along Missouri Hwy. 30 between Parkway Village and the end of Gravois Road.
We suggest for people day tripping out of St. Louis, th viewing station at Orchard Park, approximately 1/2 mile from exit 240. Exit I-44, cross the highway, make a left and proceed north on the north service road to Orchard Park Drive. Other areas just off the highway are the St. Clair Plaza commerce district, which is a loop from the north service road going southwest, which swings east, then north onto St. Clair Plaza Drive, and includes a grocery store, restaurants, small shops, the post office, a bank and other services. If you are going down Old 66 (Commercial Ave.) into downtown. The Health Mart and R&R Hardware lot is relatively large with adjacent grassy parking. We have added to our viewing stations, which now include St. John’s UCC Church on Hwy. 30 and the St. Clair Christian Church north of town off Hwy. TT. These churches have ample parking.
We ask our visitors to honor No Parking signs, not block streets, driveways or other cars, and to park compactly. We are a town of 4500 people: our first responders need to be free for emergencies, not parking squabbles. Thank you!
We are listing reservable parking opportunities here. ALL INQUIRIES need to go directly to the property owner. Neither the City of St. Clair, nor the St. Clair Area Chamber of Commerce nor the webmaster can make arrangements for you– we are providing the information as a public service for visitors unfamiliar with the area.
