The Events listed below will be going on for multiple days. If you are a Chamber Member and have an event at your location, please email to and we will post it here. Include all details, including a web link or email address for further information if needed. Unless otherwise noted, events on this page are free to attend.

August 19-20-21 Things will be busy at the Old Bus Stop Art Gallery, 545 N. Commercial, on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, August 19-21. The Old Bus Stop Art Club will have an art sale of works by its members on the back patio, featuring a wide variety of eclipse and other paintings. “Get Your Eclipse on Route 66” buttons, postcards, eclipse viewers and glasses will be available as will Maxine Scheske’s Luna and Noah Route 66 postcards. Scheske will be holding an Antique and Vintage housecleaning sale on site: no reasonable offer refused. Several styles of hotdogs, chips and drinks will be available for purchase These events start at 10 a.m. and go until 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and until 5 p.m. on Monday.

August 20-21 The St. Clair Historical Museum at 560 S. Main plans to celebrate the eclipse, the first in Missouri in 148 years and the first over this spot since 1442, with a special display, and at least two speakers — Sunday, August 20, and Monday August 21 — talking about the science, history and folklore of the blotted out sun. Plans at this time are to serve fresh lemonade, and heirloom fruit (if they grow) during the Car Show on Main Street on Sunday, and a short walk from the downtown viewing area on Monday. Come by and see our museum, risen from the ashes of the old! as time gets nearer.

August 18-21 Darkening of the Sun Eclipse Festival. Come join us for a weekend of family-friendly camping, activities, music, celebration, astronomy and speakers to celebrate the first Missouri total eclipse in 148 years. Primitive, self-contained camping with vendors, this event is sanctioned by the Northern Cherokee Nation, and benefits them, The Covering House, a local refuge for trafficked and abused youth, and other groups. for more information. There is a fee to attend.

August 18-21 St. Clair Healthmart Pharmacy, 855 N. Commercial Ave, will be participating all four days. August 18th, we will participate in the parade. August 19th, we will have a Route 66 yard sale in the lot next to us, featuring a sidewalk sale for St. Clair Healthmart. On Sunday, August 20th, we will offer parking in our lot for the Route 66 car show. August 21st, we will be a viewing station and also host a barbecue.
