August 20-21 The St. Clair Historical Museum at 560 S. Main plans to celebrate the eclipse, the first in Missouri in 148 years and the first over this spot since 1442, with a special display, and at least two speakers — Sunday, August 20, and Monday August 21 — talking about the science, history and folklore of the blotted out sun. Plans at this time are to serve fresh lemonade, and heirloom fruit (if they grow) during the Car Show on Main Street on Sunday, and a short walk from the downtown viewing area on Monday. Come by and see our museum, risen from the ashes of the old!
